Time to Grow
It's human nature for us to grow. We see it in our kids and in the older generation. There is nothing we can do to stop it. Some scientists do say there are ways to slow aging down...but that's not the point of this blog, today.
And just as our bodies grow, we as individuals grow. As a child I loved ice-cream, now I can not stand it! Our families grow, our lives and dreams grow.
For some time I have chatted casually to some clients and in conversation mentioned that I want to move into my own place. Earlier this year I spent some time looking at the property market, different areas, etc.
And I have decided I want to buy a house!
I don't know where. I don't know when. And I don't know the how yet either.
But I will figure it out.
My studio will also then become a home based studio.
In the mean time I want to cash in as many booking as humanly possible and start saving. You know the saying...sleep when you dead - hahaha. I wont do that to myself.
But I do want to fill every possible spot with a photoshoot and thus...
...I will be running some random special over the next couple months.
Special will be announced on the portfolio pages along side my standard package prices, occasional blog posts as well as in my monthly news letters. And of course on Social Media.
I'm not sure what all the special will be. But I will figure them out as I go and listen to what client's requests are etc.
Recently I did also introduce budget friendly maternity, newborn and cake smash options. For the maternity and newborn, its the limited packages.
And for the cake smash I can not go smaller than the mini package. I did think about allowing clients to bring their own cake to save cost. But with this it could potentially bring problems such as not matching color schemes, cake the wrong size and wrong icing. So, I figured, the cake smash mini is the most practical and budget friendly option I can offer.
I am however determent to save for a house!
