MY BUSINESS HOURS

As I am a working professional, my studio booking hours are from:

Tuesdays to Fridays from 09h00 to 17h00

And one Saturday per month

I'm CLOSED on Sundays and Public Holidays

Please note I do NOT have a walk in studio - strictly by appointment.

On Mondays I focus on other admin related task to support and grow my business and to nurture my passion for babies, their families and photography.

I have learned the hard way when I work like a robot, my passion and desire for photography starts fading away. Thus it is important for me to keep a balanced life nurturing my talents and passion as well as producing memorable sessions and images. So even though I have limited days for session bookings, I am still working hard behind the scene - promise ;)

My studio is quite spacious and comfortable. Here are some images of what my space looks like. I do however make changes quite often, moving furniture and finishes around to keep things fresh. So this is not what my studio will probably look like. But its to give you an idea of my space and comfy work environment :)

Do you have a studio?: Yes, my studio is home based in Randburg, in a quite neighborhood. A tranquil and spacious studio which gives me a bit of room to move around and there is ample parking.
How far ahead shoot I book my shoot?: Ideally a month in advance, however sometimes we do manage to find space for last minute bookings. My Saturday slots fill up very fast and I dont work on Sundays (this is may family day as I work every Saturday). Planning your session in advance also gives us time to discuss your session. Chat to me soonest and lets coordinate your and my availability.
Do you only do studio shoots?: No, studio sessions can be arranged for any time of the day and certain sessions such as baby, newborn and cake smashes are normally done in studio to keep baby comfortable. depending on the season, a cake smash can be booked for outdoors and when we discuss this, I will inform you of travel costs. Other sessions such as family and maternity can be done at a location. We can discuss options.
What if it rains?: If it rains, well, then it rains. Weather is something neither of us can control and it can be quite disappointing. The day before your session, if I see there is a chance of rain, we will start discussing options - whether to revert to studio or possibly look at other dates. The day of your photo shoots, about 2 hours before the time, we will make a final decision whether to go ahead, revert to studio or reschedule for another available date.
How much is the depost fee (booking fee)?: I require a 50% booking fee, along with the completed booking contract in which I set out my terms. I dont hold dates for more than 48hrs and only once the booking fee and booking contact has been received, is your booking confirmed.
What happnes if we are late?: My terms are set out in my contract. Im strict on time as I dont feel its fair to inconvenience my next client because my first client was late. Basically, I either work in the time left (if less than 30min late), or if you are more than 30min late for your session it is forfeited with no refund. For mini session which are only 30 min, if you are more than 15 min late your session is forfeited.

When do we receive our photos?: It is normally around 1- 2 weeks.
Are you open on Sundays?: No. Sundays is the one day a week I do not work, nor look at my phone or laptop. Its the one day a week I focus on my family :)
